Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international progress into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, earned him the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In 2017, he released ADN, his first long-player in the name of La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart. He then joined Ozuna on The Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He collaborated on a track with Noriel to record Mala Influencia in the year 2020. He the following year came out with his second album, the chart-topping Dopamina. In 2021, he performed in a duo performance with TINI to perform her streaming single Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo's mother and brother were musicians at the time he was born. He has said in interviews that music is a must. He was taught how to play the guitar, saxophone the ukulele, and keyboard when he was when he was a child. When his original career plan was a career as a vet his brother Julian convinced him to take singing lessons with a Cuban teacher.
